Metoda Compare() klasy Java Long służy do numerycznego porównywania dwóch długich obiektów.

Składnia:

 public static int compare(long x, long y) 

Parametr:

Powyższa metoda składa się z dwóch parametrów:

1. Pierwsza długa wartość, którą należy porównać.
2. Druga długa wartość, którą należy porównać.

Powrót:

Powyższa metoda zwraca:

1. 0 jeśli x==y.
2. Wartość mniejsza niż 0, jeśli x
3. Wartość większa niż 0, jeśli x>y.
